About Me

With an undergraduate degree in English and a Master’s in Technical Communication, Katie has always enjoyed the writing and analyzing process. Though she enjoys the technical side of writing, with its puzzling grammar checks and strict structures, her heart mostly lies with storytelling. From short stories, spec-fic twirling tales, and even poetry, Katie not only enjoys writing within different genres, but also figuring out how to engage her readers.

When not writing, Katie enjoys reading, book-store wandering, and spending time with her husband and children. Though her reading material is now more often than not of the board book variety, she still finds time to sneak in the occasional mystery-thriller.
